OKX Ventures, the strategic investment division of the global tech entity OKX, has declared its participation in the pre-seed funding round for Cygnus Finance. As detailed by OKX Ventures, Cygnus Finance, a modular real yield layer, is being recognized for its potential to integrate Web3 infrastructures and set new benchmarks in restaking technology.
Cygnus Finance’s Vision
Cygnus Finance aims to empower blockchains by enabling them to create bespoke restaking networks that ensure shared security. This innovative approach allows for both on-chain and off-chain assets to be restaked into Cygnus LVS, enhancing liquidity validation. The platform’s collaborations with entities like MakerDAO, Linea, and Synfutures highlight its commitment to fostering economic security.
Following the acquisition of OASIS AI Limited, Cygnus is set to expand its support for AI assets and computing resources, promoting the democratization of AI technologies. This strategic move is part of Cygnus’s broader mission to build a Web3 Instagram App Layer, merging digital assets from both the blockchain and traditional spheres to fuel the creator economy.

Cygnus Finance plans to leverage Instagram’s advertising capabilities by collaborating with creators to enhance user engagement. This initiative will allow users to support their favorite content creators while participating in revenue sharing through recommended campaigns. Furthermore, Cygnus intends to utilize Instagram for interactive content, including games and live streams, positioning itself as a central hub for blockchain education.
