More than 8,620 Solana-connected wallets have been associated with the DEXX hack, with total losses increasing to $30 million. The attack was carried out on November 16 and involved the trading platform for the meme crypto coin. The leakage of a private key has seen 900 people lose their digital assets; one customer lost above $1 million. However, measures have been taken, and users have been advised to stop depositing due to the active hacker’s script at DEXX. They include the detection of hacker addresses and the actual bargaining of assets. Recovery possibilities remain bleak because further digs are still in progress.
