Cronos (CRO) zkEVM opens the Passage quest, inviting users to deposit CRO or LCRO for zkCRO and loyalty points ahead of its mainnet launch.
Cronos (CRO) Labs has announced the initiation of the Passage quest for its upcoming Cronos zkEVM, a next-generation layer-2 blockchain network. The Passage quest is designed to engage users before the mainnet launch, which is expected to occur in the coming weeks.
Cronos zkEVM Passage Quest
The Passage quest allows users to deposit CRO or LCRO into the Cronos zkEVM bridge. In return, participants will receive zkCRO and loyalty points. These loyalty points can later be redeemed for boosted crypto earn yields in various participating cryptocurrencies, including zkCRO and ZK.
The more CRO users deposit, the more points they can accumulate. However, this opportunity is time-limited and will conclude as soon as the Cronos zkEVM goes live.
VVS Finance and Fulcrom Finance Updates
In related news, VVS Finance has launched new meme coin farms, including CRO/CAW, CRO/ROBIN, and CRO/CROGINAL. Fulcrom Finance, as part of its multichain strategy, has expanded to Cronos zkEVM and listed new tokens such as PEPE, DOGE, and SHIB on the Cronos EVM chain.
Other Ecosystem Developments
NexaBot AI, a self-custodial Telegram-based trading bot, is now live for waitlisted users. Meanwhile, Earn Network has introduced a new WCRO staking pool and is hosting a series of collaborative events with various Cronos projects.
Marswap is shifting to a flat fee trading model for its AI-powered zkDEX and announced that 50% of all transaction fees will go directly to LP providers’ wallets without vesting periods or exit fees.
DeFi Projects on Cronos zkEVM
Several DeFi projects have revealed their plans to launch on Cronos zkEVM, including H2 Finance, Fulcrom Finance, Wolfswap, XY Finance, and Crolon Mars. Additionally, Ebisu’s Bay, a prominent NFT platform, celebrated its 10 millionth NFT sale and announced its upcoming launch on Cronos zkEVM.
New Listings and Collaborations
Other notable updates include the listing of Crow with Knife (CAW) on Gate.io and the listing of Mistery on Cro (MERY) on LBank Exchange. LOAF concluded its ToastOff event, distributing 2,000,000 LOAF tokens as rewards to over 5,000 unique players.
FortuneFavorsTheBozos has become the second most popular farm on Ebisu’s Bay DEX and increased reward emissions for FFTB/CRO LP staking. Multiple projects, including Memeted by Minted and Puushdabutton, have also announced their plans to launch on Cronos zkEVM.
Technical Updates
The latest Cronos EVM V1.3 mainnet upgrade was completed smoothly, and the latest version of Cronos zkEVM’s developer documentation was published. Additionally, Band Protocol, an oracle protocol, has integrated Cronos zkEVM Testnet and is preparing to deploy on the mainnet.
