Conflux (CFX), a blockchain network known for its innovative approach to scalability and security, has announced a significant upgrade with the release of its v2.5.0-testnet. This hardfork is scheduled to occur before the network reaches epoch number 208160000, estimated around March 3, 2025, according to the Conflux Forum.

The v2.5.0-testnet release addresses a critical security issue, emphasizing the importance for all node operators to upgrade promptly. The upgrade process involves replacing the current ‘conflux.exe’ file with the new version provided in the v2.5.0-testnet package and then restarting the node.
