Chonks is an on-chain PFP collection that leverages the ERC-6551 Token Bound Account (TBA) standard.
Each Chonk acts as a customizable digital asset, capable of holding individual traits such as accessories or outfits. These traits are separate ERC-721 tokens, allowing them to be traded individually or together with the main Chonk.
The collection also features 3D compatibility, enabling users to switch between 2D and 3D renderings of their Chonks. Both pixel and voxel data are stored directly on-chain, ensuring permanence and flexibility for collectors.

Chonks includes a custom-built marketplace designed to handle the modular nature of its assets.
Traditional NFT marketplaces are not equipped to manage the buying and selling of both full Chonks and their individual traits, so the team created a specialized platform to fill this gap. This marketplace supports seamless trading whilst catering specifically to the needs of Chonks users.
Customization is central to the Chonks experience. The Chonks Studio, an online design platform, allows users to modify their Chonks by adding or removing traits. Approved creators can also use the Studio to contribute new traits for future seasonal releases.
