The draft underscored that the U.S. must adapt to the growing role of digital assets in global finance. The Executive Order designates Bitcoin as a strategic asset for acquisition within the Treasury’s Exchange Stabilization Fund, and establishes a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve as a permanent national asset for the benefit of all Americans.
